Oils used in Indian Head Massage

       Indian Head Massage can be performed fully clothed or with oils.

       some of the more common oils used are


  • Olive oil can ease muscle pain and stiffness
  • Sweet Almond oil which is a good moisturiser and is also good for promoting hair growth. 
  • Sesame which can help to norish protect and strenghthen hair and can help with pain and stiffness
  • Mustard which is beneficial in reducing swelling and pain and stimulates circulation
  • Jojoba suitable for all moisturizing and nourishing
  • Coconut oil is beneficial for hair
      
​         Essential oil can also be used

  • lavender can promote calmness and can ease tension headaches
  •  rosemary is useful in the treatment of dandruff

    The use of oils can be discussed either at the time of booking or during the consultation. please be aware that some oils contain nuts. The most common oil that I use is Grape seed oil.
