More about me

Hello and welcome my name is Leanne. I am an Holistic Massage therapist based in Aylsham in Norfolk.
I work from my own home where I strive for relaxation and comfort offering a home from home feel to aide relaxation.
I work during school hours as I am a mum of 4 girls, so while there will be no children present we do have Poppy our Labrador and Taffy the ginger Tom, both who are happy with cuddles.
Massage is proven to relax and refocus as well as having a whole range of other benefits and since qualifying I have used massage on a daily basis and it has now become an integral part of our family life.
I started my journey with massage back in 2014 with a Diploma in Indian Head Massage with Jackie Hamilton school of therapies in Norwich www.jackiehamilton.co.uk. I am now also ITEC qualified in Holistic Massage.
I am a member of the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapist's) All treatments are confidential and fully comply with National Guidelines.
Primarily I trained to help my daughter who has ADD, anxiety and poor Peripheral circulation . To better understand these and other disabilities I am always broadening my knowledge with training the most recent undertaking being a certificate in understanding Autism which I am proud to say I achieved.
I have also have certificate's in Mental health awareness, and ADHD awareness with ADD Norfolk. With Massage I am always on the look out for local courses to add to my training and knowledge.
I am also the author of You, Me and a Journey at www.leannesihm.wordpress.com which is a blog that I started writing a while back about my journey raising children with disabilities, life day to day, using holistic therapies and how I cope day to day. My hope is that I can help other parents see they are not alone and to also raise awareness of ADHD/ADD and Autism.
More recently I have had a few posts published on Huffington Post Uk http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/../../leanne-brown/addso-what-now-mum_b_11569218.html
I also write Blog's for the Family fund who are an amazing charity that give grants to disabled children for equipment, break's and more.
For my work with Story Massage I was awarded the Best Practise award September 2016.
Other therapies I offer at this time are
